Numeum, the federation and professional organization for the digital ecosystem that brings together 2,500 companies, announced on Monday, October 14, the official launch of Cyber4Tomorrow platform..
Bringing together cyber players
It was housed within the “Studio des Communis” of Cyber Campus“This new tool comes in the form of a website menu.”Concrete and directly actionable actions“It is aimed at cybersecurity professionals (ESN, startups, etc.), institutions, research stakeholders and students,” explains Nolwyn Le Stere, Chair of the Cybersecurity Committee at Numeum and COO of Almond Amossys, in an interview with Digital Factory. “This studio specifically aims to bring these actors together and create shared communities and resources that will allow the ecosystem to be stronger together to better promote French excellence.“, adds Yann Bonnet, Deputy General Manager of Campus Cyber.
Concretely, the website presents a list of actions based on three pillars: “Cyber Sustainability” which aims to reduce the environmental impact of cybersecurity practices, “Cyber Citizenship” which aims to raise awareness among citizens and businesses about the importance of responsible online behaviour, and “Cyber Citizenship”. “Cyber”. “Which aims to democratize access to cybersecurity careers by promoting diversity.
Contribute directly to digital security
For each action, the platform describes the objective(s), skills required, estimated duration as well as a summary of the objectives to be achieved. All this is accompanied by written support to support the company, public body or individual who wishes to invest in this direction. Among the suggested actions we find, for example, “Develop diversity and inclusion in your cyber teams”, “Raise awareness among standardization bodies about sustainable cybersecurity” or even “Lead an OSINT workshop with teenagers”.
Actions on the platform also target citizens. The idea behind this is as follows: “We must raise the level of cyber maturity of our fellow citizens to better protect ourselves collectively and thus improve. Ultimately, protection will also cost us less“, explains Nolwen Le Stier. Hence the integration into the system of the public interest group “Action Against Hate” (GIP ACYMA), at the origin of the victim assistance website “Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr”. Signing of a strategic partnership The relationship between the union and GIP was announced at Platform launch.
Strategic partnership with GIP ACYMA
In practice, the platform has integrated a sheet with the “Cyber Family Guide” whose origin is GIP ACYMA. This educational support lists ten recommendations for combating cyber risks. “We have three missions: a victim assistance mission, a prevention mission, and a threat monitoring mission. So we can only join this approach initiated by Campus and Numeum“, explains Jérôme Nutin, General Director of GIP ACYMA.
The platform targets all entities that make up the French cyber sector, i.e. “Between 15,000 and 20,000 specialists“, defines Nolwenn Le Ster who is confident in supporting the ecosystem.”At Numeum, we have an initiative with a similar ethos – Planet Tech’Care – on sustainable development issuesShe adds. There are nearly 2,000 signatory organizations.“
