North Korea sent troops to Ukraine
It recently became known that North Korea sent its military to support Russia in the war against Ukraine. According to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, the move is part of a “strategic partnership” between the Russian Federation and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said that military personnel from the DPRK may begin hostilities on the Ukrainian front as early as November.
According to the Financial Times, citing Ukrainian intelligence, about three thousand North Korean troops have already arrived in the Kursk region of Russia and is about 50 km from the Ukrainian border.
