In his opinion, the Kremlin’s statement that the Russian army “is working on mechanisms to warn the civilian population of Ukraine in case of new ballistic missile attacks” may increase the psychological pressure on Ukrainians.
In particular, Putin’s words that if such systems as Oreshnik are used, civilians will be “openly and publicly” asked to leave dangerous zones in advance.
“This is done so that Ukrainians switch to official sources in Russia, so that Ukrainians see and receive pieces of lies and propaganda. It is designed to create panic. You should only trust official sources in Ukraine.”
