According to the investigation, it was on her guidance that in early November the enemy launched missile attacks on Chernigov with X-59 anti-aircraft missiles.
The attacker turned out to be a local resident who was recruited because of anti-Ukrainian comments in pro-Russian Telegram channels.
It is noted that her task was to install a hidden video camera near objects that the enemy planned to attack. It was these so-called “videotapes” that were supposed to record the location of the Ukrainian air defense and the consequences of the attacks.
SBU counterintelligence thwarted the agent’s plans. It is reported that the traitor was imprisoned near her home.
During the search, video cameras and a mobile phone were seized from her, which contained evidence of her collaboration with Russian intelligence services.
The prisoner was charged with treason under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She is currently in custody. The article’s penalty is life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
