Finland has awarded a new, already 26th, aid package to Ukraine of 25 million euros. In particular, it will include winter equipment for the Ukrainian military.
It is noted that the compensation of the funds included in the load is calculated by Finland to be approximately EUR 25 million.
In addition, preparations for the next aid package, to be implemented after the turn of the year, are already underway at the Defense Department.
“The total value of defense equipment that Finland has delivered to Ukraine now amounts to 2.3 billion euros. This package includes, among other things, winter equipment for the Ukrainian army. Finland is one of Ukraine’s strongest supporters, and this line does not change,” said Defense Minister Antti Hyakkanen.
For operational reasons and to ensure the safe delivery of aid, the detailed content, method and timetable of the aid transfer are not traditionally communicated.
