“There are statistics, there are open data. A third (of objects in the Russian Federation – ed.) are damaged to one degree or another. There are big problems with restoration, because we are talking about imported equipment, given the sanctions, It there are major problems with access to this equipment, says Yusov.
The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate recalled the restrictions on the import of fuels and lubricants into the Russian Federation, indicating that the enemy is experiencing the consequences of attacks and sanctions.
Yusov stressed that when we talk about attacks, we are not talking about civilian targets. We are talking about oil refineries that operate Russian military equipment, sell petroleum products and finance aggression against Ukraine.
Attacks on Russian refineries
Ukrainian soldiers have carried out dozens of operations and attacked Russian oil refineries and oil depots. The defenders hit targets that support the Russian army and supply the occupiers with fuel.
According to the Foreign Intelligence Service, three Russian refineries partially stopped work. The reason for this was unfinished repairs. The Russians were unable to complete the renovation work in October due to sanctions.
