According to Zelensky, they discussed in detail the possibilities of the allies to train brigades of the Ukrainian military following the example of France and the United States.
We also discussed the Czech initiative to supply artillery shells and our state’s defense needs.
“We discussed the possibility of opening a representative office of the newly created Ministry of National Unity in the Czech Republic,” Zelensky wrote.
Ministry of Unity
Let’s remember that in August this year, President Vladimir Zelensky announced the creation of the “Ministry of Unity”, which should unite Ukrainians abroad and counter Russian propaganda.
The main task of the new department is to support Ukrainian communities abroad and protect national interests. Zelensky noted that meeting their educational and cultural needs requires a more active role from the state, as the Foreign Ministry will not provide this on its own.
