Cairo – Ma’an – A delegation of leaders from Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front met yesterday in Cairo on Friday to discuss the course of the war in Gaza and the progress of negotiations, the Hamas Movement said in a statement.
She added in a statement on Saturday evening: “We affirm our enthusiasm to stop the invasion, which has been going on for more than 14 months in international collusion.”
“Representatives of the factions confirmed that they are closer than ever to reaching an agreement if their opponents stop setting new conditions,” he said.
This comes as families of Israeli prisoners of war in the Gaza Strip called for “demonstrations in Tel Aviv and several cities on Saturday night demanding an agreement for the return of all prisoners of war held in the Gaza Strip.” I was disappointed.
“Leaders must now reach an agreement that guarantees the release of all prisoners of war,” she said, adding, “Ending the war is not a failure, it is not without cost. It’s our return,” he said.
