“The terrorists used more than 550 guided bombs, almost 550 attack drones and more than 20 missiles of various types this week alone,” the head of state noted.
Zelenskiy emphasized that the Russians used more than 110 drones against Ukraine that night. As a result of enemy attacks, an oncology clinic was destroyed in Kherson, and hits were recorded in apartment buildings in Kharkov and Zaporozhye. This week, the occupiers attacked Kiev with ballistics, shelling Sumy, Krivoy Rog, Dnieper and Donetsk regions.
“This is Russian terror, for which I thank the partners who continue to support Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia. With our joint strength, we will ensure a stable world,” the president said.
Attack on Kyiv
On the morning of December 20, the Russians fired five ballistic missiles at Kyiv. All the missiles were shot down, but debris fell in five districts of the city.
Most of the damage was in the Goloseevsky district of Kyiv. There, a business center, cars, houses, a church and a heating pipe were damaged. As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv, one person was killed and 12 were injured.
