GAZA – TOGETHER – UNRWA Executive Director Philippe Lazzarini said: “One child is killed every hour in Gaza and the killing of children cannot be justified.”
He pointed out that 14,500 children have been martyred in Gaza since the start of the war, and these are not numbers, but rather lives prematurely ended.
He pointed out that in Gaza, one child dies every hour as a result of the occupation, and the killing of children cannot be justified.
Earlier, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming said children in the Gaza Strip were paying the price for a brutal war they did not start and which has continued for more than 14 months.
In his “X” platform, Fleming added that there is no safe place for children in the Gaza Strip and pointed out that a ceasefire is long overdue.
