The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine honored the memory of the reconnaissance saboteurs of the “Brotherhood” unit of the “Timur Special Unit” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who died during a combat mission.
The statement mentions Maxim “Nepiypivo” Mikhailov, Taras “Tarasy” Karpyuk, Yuri “Svyatosha” Horovets and Bogdan “Apollo” Lyagov, who heroically resisted the enemy on Christmas night 2022.
“Maidanovites, patriots, real heroes of the war for the freedom of the Ukrainian nation, educated, creative, proud armed men, their stories and contributions to the common cause of the struggle for Ukraine will remain a guide for all subsequent generations of defenders. our freedom and state,” the statement reads.
The Main Intelligence Directorate reports that on December 25, 2022, a group of intelligence officers conducted a deep raid on enemy-held territory. Facing Russian troops, the four scouts refused to give up and made their last stand.
