JERUSALEM – Ma’an – Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reports that Israeli forces are preparing for the possibility that they will continue deploying troops to southern Lebanon beyond the end of the 60-day deadline specified in the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. It was reported.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah stipulates that Israeli forces will complete their withdrawal from southern Lebanon within up to 60 days.
The Hebrew newspaper said the Israeli military would not withdraw its troops from Lebanon “if the Lebanese army does not abide by the agreement and extend full control over southern Lebanon.”
This took place on the eve of the 30th day after the armistice took effect, and the occupation forces released data on the Lebanon war, including violations of the agreement, and within the framework of combating “violations”. It is claimed that it was done in by Hezbollah demanding a withdrawal north of the Litani River. In general, the Israeli military is “satisfied” with the implementation of the agreement and the role of the United States in imposing it.
The Israeli military has admitted to killing 44 Lebanese after the deal came into force on November 27, claiming they were Hezbollah members “in violation of the agreement.”
