THAT US Brand Council consists of 11 participantsappointed by the United States Secretary of Commerce in consultation with the Departments of State and the Department of Homeland Security. Directors represent different sectors of tourism and can serve for a maximum of two consecutive three-year terms. Among recent members updated appear Todd Davidson, CEO of Travel Oregon, and Elliot Ferguson and Lauren Bailey.
THAT newly appointed members include Danny Hughes, President of Hilton Americas, and Gus Antorcia, President of Princess Cruisesthe latter holds an interim position to fill the remainder of Don Moore’s term.
This board update comes as Brand USA continues to implement U.S. Department of Commerce National Travel and Tourism Strategy. The strategy aims to attract 90 million international visitors by 2027, with the intention of exceeding this target by 2026.
The Agency also expresses its recognition of outgoing members, Don Moore and Mark Hoplamazianwhose leadership played a key role in developing the mission of Brand USA.
