“Putin (Russian dictator Vladimir Putin – ed.) has publicly stated that Russia intends to launch another experimental Oreshnik rocket that you mentioned. It is possible that Russia may do this in the coming days. I don’t have an exact date,” noted Singh.
According to her, if Russia attacks Ukraine again with Oreshnik, it will not be a turning point on the battlefield. Thus, Moscow will only try to cause damage and losses to Ukraine.
“We’ve seen this before, they’re trying to use every weapon they have in their arsenal to intimidate Ukraine, but of course Ukraine continues to have our support as they fight every day on the battlefield,” she added.
Singh assured that the US will continue to transfer air defense systems to Ukraine, as they remain a priority request.
